"Everything is ok in the end. If it is not ok it is not the end." - John Lennon

Updated: Nov 11, 2019

This famous quote by John Lennon says it all really. BUT I am writing about it not so much to tell you to hold on and just wait for the things you want to arrive and then everything will be ok. lol I wish it was simple like that. But I have good news, it's even simpler. I would like you to consider a question right now, how many people do you know or feel are ok. I mean really, completely, in their bones feel ok about their lives, themselves and their reality. When I say ok, I mean, how many people do you know or can you think of that are 10,000% content with their lives? It may seem on FB posts or other social media outlets that people are doing completely amazing, but if you were able to pull back the curtain of their lives and see beyond, you might see that they are suffering far beyond anything you are experiencing or even realized.

I'll go ahead and give you the answer. Very few people are 10,000% content with their lives and their reality. In Buddhism this might be known as nirvana, or the end of all desires. You are just content (aka a state of peaceful happiness)... you are happy with reality no matter what is going on. That doesn't mean that everything around you is "ok" it means that your energy is totally aligned with a higher level of energy and you feel "ok" no matter what. "Ok" here means, peaceful happiness, contentment, the extinguishment of needs, desires and the feeling that there is always a gap between where you are and where you'd like to be. When you are ok, the gap is gone. You are free and you just feel awesome and it's a sustainable feeling too.

You may be saying- how can you say that don't you know the horror in the world? And yes I do know the horrors in the world. Of course I can't know every little horror that is occurring but I know the horrors. I grew up around a lot of intense addiction and near death experiences from this. I worked in the poorest areas and poorest countries in West and East Africa, I worked in the poorest worst slums in Delhi. I have worked first hand with children who survived by getting regularly raped by other children or adults, or were trafficked and/or going through garbage dumps. I have worked first hand with more rape, violence and trafficking survivors than I can count at this point. I know this world is fucked up. It is more than fucked up actually, it is something of a nightmare that exists at various levels and degrees.

However, through this, I have also found that there are levels of reality. There is the outer projected level we see, and then there are higher better levels of reality that we can't see with our physical eyes. To be more specific, there are energetic layers that exist within reality. You might call this flow or super flow, or universal energy. However, this is what we are all made of. When we connect to this energy, everything is ok. And at this level, it is the end, meaning the end of looking to the outside projection to have peaceful happiness. Peaceful happiness exists at an energetic level. It is not sustained through the attainment of outside things or circusmtances.

To put this quote another way...

If it is not ok, it is not the end of clinging and attachment to the most obvious level of reality. Our outer projection of reality. If it's not ok, it is not the end yet. So keep connecting... check in with your energy and where it's at. It may not be something that you can see. But like love, peace, joy or contentment, it is something you can feel.

So so much Love Always!!
